Technology
In seventh grade, students receive personalized instruction in computer use, including keyboarding, accessing the internet, and doing on-line research. These lessons continue in eighth grade, and, in preparation for the high school years, students use word processing programs to write several papers. Students have access to laptop PCs, available in the library and student lounge, for research, writing papers, and reading course material. In high school, students will continue their computer education, learning the fundamental principles of message encoding, transmission and storage, the history of mathematics and information theory, enhanced programming, and data analysis.
