The College Guidance office in conjunction with class parent volunteers would like to organize a Ride Share for future college visits.  It has come to our attention through both conversations with parents and students that the prospect of visiting colleges can be difficult and daunting.  We are also aware that there are a number of families who have begun visiting schools.  It is our hope that some of the families already planning trips by car would have extra space and be willing to invite other students/families to accompany them on some of their future tours.  

Families willing to offer rides are welcome to send an email to either gwurtzel@gwbproductions.com or mpisacane@nyc.rr.com to have their information added to the calendar, above, and those students/families needing a ride are welcome check the calendar periodically to see if any planned trips mesh with their schedule.  Once a match is determined families are encouraged to personally contact each other to make final arrangements. 

No student or parent is obligated to take advantage of this program, on either end.  We fully understand if you feel that your college trips and search are personal and not something you wish to share with other members of the class.

College visits are the most important part of the college search process!  Please do what you can to make sure that they are an integral part for you and your child’s planning process.
