as at every independent school, tuition does not cover the full costs
of educating children. Every year, at least 10% of our operating budget
is underwritten by generous contributions from parents, alumni and
friends. This is a real figure upon which we depend for meeting our
annual budget. For 2007-2008, we have a goal to raise $600,000 by
June 30, 2008.
The Annual Fund provides across-the-board support for all of our needs: funds for faculty development, financial aid for students, start-up money for new programs, even underwriting for maintenance of our two landmark buildings. Our school benefits from the high rate of participation from all of our constituencies. We are deeply grateful for each expression of support. Help us continue the strong history of philanthropy that has made the Rudolf Steiner School the vital center for Waldorf education that it is today.
