Follett Library - Lower School

Children in the early grades are gifted with imagination and creativity. Their teachers seek to nourish these faculties. At our school, reading and writing are taught through the images and words of fairy tale, fable and myth. Mathematics is introduced through rhythm and song, and studies of the natural world. Through a vivid experience of the subject matter, students are motivated to learn, quickly mastering the basic skills and developing the foundation for study in other branches of knowledge.
