When to Apply
For those families intersted in the remaining spots for September 2014, please contact the admissions office at 347.334.5783 to start the application process. Applications for the 2015-2016 school year will be accepted after Labor Day and due by November 20, 2014. The application may be filled out on-line and submittedit directly to the school. Your child must be two years old by June 30 of the year of enrollment in order to be eligible. The tuition for Fall 2014 is $1,250 for ten sessions.
How to Apply
Submit the following materials:
- An application and parent statement. (To start an application online, you will need to create a username and password. Please click here to access the application.)
- An application fee of $50
- A photograph is optional. If you choose to submit a photograph you may email it in JPEG format to Lower School Admissions.
Once the admissions packet is complete, the Lower School Admissions Office will contact you to schedule a tour, a visit to an Open House or a Waldorf Lecture, and a family interview. We will hold tours earmarked for families applying to the Parent-Child Program in January and February.
Children and their parents are interviewed together during a visit with the Director of Admissions after January 1. Due to the limited number of interview slots, the Lower School Admissions Office may not be able to interview children applying to the Parent-Child Program after December 1. However, inquiries regarding space are welcome at any time of the year since unanticipated openings may occur.
Notification and Reply Dates
Please note: Admission to the Parent-Child Program does not guarantee admission to our Early Childhood Program the following year. A separate application is required.
Once you have accepted an offer, please notify immediately by phone or email all the schools to which you have applied. This courtesy is helpful to families on a waiting list.
