Mrs. Olson helped found and taught at Great River School, a Waldorf initiative, in Ottawa, Canada. In 2011 she relocated to Green Meadow Waldorf School where she taught an eight-year cycle. Prior to becoming a Waldorf teacher, Mrs. Olson obtained Montessori certification where she began her teaching career. Before teaching Mrs. Olson worked in corporate coaching. In 2020 Ruth joined the RSS administrative team as Lower School Coordinator and works to combine her years teaching and her business experience to best serve the school. Ruth’s three children have been in Waldorf Schools since Early Childhood and are now working and studying in Canada. Outside of school, Ruth loves spending time with her family and taking long walks in Central Park accompanied by Gruffalo, a very special golden retriever.
