Children in grades 1-5 enjoy the slower pace and lots of outdoor play time each day. Field trips, water play, and a few surprises round out the two-week program.
Kindergarteners will spend time with some of their familiar teachers, exploring the natural world in Central Park together. Simple crafts and plenty of outdoor play with friends will satisfy the child’s needs. Lunch will be provided, and a short rest in the classroom will be part of the daily rhythm.
This program is open to all children currently enrolled in Grades 1-5, and will operate separately from the other June Days programs. Your child can be enrolled for one or two weeks.

This comprehensive two-week program for students in grades 4-12 is open to instrumentalists and singers of all levels who are interested in experiencing the joys of performing jazz and musical theater. The session culminates in a performance at Rudolf Steiner School on the final day.
June Days Jazz
8:30am–12:00PM
The morning instrumental program offers a curriculum of small and large ensembles, jazz history, jazz improvisation and two Latin percussion ensembles. A minimum of one year of prior study is recommended.
June Days Musical Theater
1:00pm–3:00pm
Students work on excerpts from a variety of musicals. This year’s musical will be The Music Man. There will be an opportunity to audition for solos, duets and small group numbers.
Supervised breaks will be provided. Students attending the full day are asked to bring their own snacks and lunch from home. No nut products are allowed at school, as we have children with severe allergies.
