Hannah Saunders leads the Forest Kindergarten after several years of assisting in the Early Childhood classes and supporting as a substitute. She brings experience from a forest school and gardening summer camp program she started in upper Manhattan and the Bronx. Prior to that, she worked with NYC public school gardens, and both NYBG and Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s children’s programs. Hannah holds a bachelor’s degree from NYU in Environmental Studies. She has completed professional development programs surrounding the inner life of children in nature with The Center for Education, Imagination, and the Natural World (Greensboro, NC) and the Touchstone Center for Children (NYC).
